Growing through the years, it became one of the founding members of Group of Eight (Go8). And in 2006, it set up separate colleges for arts and social sciences, business and economics, engineering and computer science, law, medicine, biology and environment, and physical and mathematical sciences.
The main campus of ANU sits across the suburb of Acton on a lush 358 acres, surrounded by various campuses and thousands of trees and recognized as a sustainable university. The other four campuses are Kioloa Coastal Campus & Siding Spring Observatory in New South Wales, Mount Stromlo Observatory in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), North Australia Research Unit campus within a few kilometers from Darwin city.
ANU has well-established partnerships with 170+ international institutes to carry out academic exchange programs & scientific research collaboration and provide the students an opportunity to form a global network.
Courses offered
There is also a broad range of professional development courses in various sectors like policymakers, scientists, legal professionals, public and population health professionals, etc. One of the standouts of the ANU is double degree studying options that allow students to pursue the combination of two Bachelor’s or two Masters, or a Bachelor’s & a Master’s degree.
