Courses offered

The university offers a plethora of study courses to equip you with the skills you need for a successful career. Students can choose from more than 6,000 study programs within ten faculties of design & architecture, arts, business & economics, education, engineering, information technology, law, medicine, nursing & health sciences, pharmaceutical sciences.

Over 150 research fields programs across ten faculties are available in areas. Some of them include stem cell science, nanotechnology, reproductive Biology, drug development & discovery, and road safety.

Eligibility Criteria

To be enrolled in any Monash university courses, students will be required to satisfy a minimum of 3: academic grades, English language proficiency, and age.

  • For MS, MIM, MBA/PGDM, a Bachelor’s degree with grades specified by the university.
    IELTS: 6.5 & above
    TOEFL: 79.0 & Above
    PTE: 58.0 & Above
  • E./B.Tech, BBA, B. Sc., certain grades in academics, specified by the university.

Scholarship and grants:

Monash university recognizes next-generation deserving talents, which is why it provides Australia’s most generous scholarships. Here is a glance through the many scholarships the university offers.

  • Monash international leadership scholarship: Students are awarded 100% tuition fees until a minimum number of credit points for their degree.
  • Monash international merit scholarship: AUD 10K per 48 credit points for a study course
  • Engineering international undergraduate excellence scholarship: AUD 10K per 48 credit points paid as tuition fees for a course of a maximum of four years
  • Master of professional engineering international scholarship: AUD 10K per 48 credit points for a study course of two years.
  • Faculty of IT IBL scholarship: Syents are awarded AUD 18K in two installments.
  • Women in IT: AUD 6K for only one year
  • Biomedicine Discover Scholarship: AUD 3K per 48 credit points for a degree course of a maximum of three years.
  • Pharmacy international undergraduate merit scholarship: for students pursuing pharmacy degree courses
  • Faculty of law Masters International scholarship: AUD 20K for one-year tuition fees
  • Faculty of law international scholarship: 25% and 100% course fees for minimum credit points to complete your degree.

Career Assistance:

Monash university employs a work-integrated learning study methodology. With the MSA’s (Monash Student Association) Internships & Department Experience initiative, the students get the opportunity to enhance their academic skills and a better understanding of career options. The program aims to provide hands-on experience for the Monash students through guidance, realistic appraisal, industrial training with working with professionals in their area of interest to prepare them for future job prospects while still studying.

Fee Structure:

The tuition fees vary with the study program and level of education. Typically students pay between AUD 35K-79K to study at Monash University.

Accommodation:

You may find a range of different residential options on-campus at Monash University’s Clayton and Peninsula campuses. The university’s services also extend to off-campus accommodation, wherein students get guidance and support for renting from the private rental market.
